3 Skills to Succeed in 2021

Today, we acknowledge a National day of Service in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday and contribution to our society. One of the ways I decided to honor him is through this blog entry today. We all need helpful tips on how to succeed in this new space and time we are trying to adjust to daily. As I was reading an article within the Fast Company newsletter, it focused on 3 skills necessary to succeed in 2021. The 3 skills are listed below for your review and use.

  1. Literacy in Data Science

  2. Competency in Leadership, especially while in crisis

  3. Understanding of Global Economy

Each of these skill sets can be attained by taking a class with www.udemy.com, www.linkedin.com, www.udacity.com, and www.edx.com. There are some other lower costs options to work on your skill level in these areas as well. It is pertinent to take advantage of the more cost-effective resources.

I want to leave you with a quote from Dr. Martin Luther King.

"The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education."
