They are seeking a highly qualified candidate for position of Deputy Director of the Maryland Water Infrastructure Financing Administration (MWIFA). This vital role is central to funding clean water and resiliency projects across the state.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Financial Oversight: Assisting the Director in managing and administering major loan and grant programs, including the Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) programs.

Operational Excellence: Overseeing detailed credit analyses, developing financial capability assessments, and implementing changes to ensure the efficient operation of loan and grant processes.

Strategic Collaboration: Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to provide financing necessary to protect public health and improve water quality in the Chesapeake Bay and all of Maryland's waterways.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Five (5) years of senior-level experience managing financial operations for a professional organization, including budget management or overseeing water infrastructure capital budgets.

Two (2) of those years must include the supervision of financial staff.

Salary: $97,972.00 - $120,642/year (with potential growth to $152,528.00/year).
