Position: Youth Development Specialist

Employer: NYC Children’s (ACS)

Requirements:

-High school diploma & 1 year of full-time experience working directly with juveniles or young adults (ages 10-24)

The experience has to be in juvenile detention, education, vocational rehabilitation, education, antiviolence work, mental health, counseling, mentoring, youth/young adult leadership development, recreation, sports, athletics, health promotion, community organizing etc, or

-An associate degree / completion of 60 semester credits & six months of full-time satisfactory experience mentioned above, or

-A bachelor degree

Starting salary is $55,075. After 5 years, salary goes up to approximately $69,762
