Wow, already "Hump Day" Wednesday. I am excited to be apart of a panel tomorrow presented by the Measure organization. If you are in the Austin area, please come out for a dynamic discussion regarding the "Mammy" connotation and the historical reference and how it tends to affect little black girls and women in the societal space today.
I am honored to be apart of the panel. God had truly been opening doors for me and I'm so grateful. Being apart of organizations, events, or projects that impact communities in positive ways is a dream come true for me. I hope to continue to have these opportunities.
